Turkey’s monthly industrial turnover index in January fell by 6.5% year on year and decreased by 11.6% from a month ago, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK).
The January industrial turnover index for basic metals manufacture dropped by 1.4% year on year and fell by 7.1% from last December.
At the same time, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing,, excluding machinery and equipment remained flat year on year while decreased by 19.5% from a month earlier.
